The inaugural iteration of the SFX9 introduces a 3.25" sub-compact 9mm pistol featuring the innovative SF (Solid Frame) design with a lightweight aluminum grip frame. Crafted from solid T6-7075 aluminum, the SFX9 frame embodies a blend of ruggedness, comfort, and exceptional concealability. 

Distinguished from competing firearms built with a two-piece grip/frame arrangement, the sleek and flat SFX9 solid frame incorporates the Wilson Combat X-Tac tread pattern, enhancing control while providing a non-abrasive, comfortable grasp across all shooting environments.

The dependable EDC X9 magazine, known for its reliability, is adopted for the SFX9. This magazine utilizes a tube and follower system thoughtfully engineered specifically for the 9mm cartridge by Mec-Gar, a prominent player in double column magazine design.

The SFX9's sub-compact slide assembly retains the Wilson Combat "Enhanced Reliability System" (ERS) tailored for 9mm 1911 models. The ERS is fine-tuned to accommodate the varying power levels of 9mm ammunition, maintaining remarkable reliability even under adverse conditions, including scenarios with heavy fouling and minimal lubrication. Additionally, the pistol boasts cosmetic and performance enhancements, such as a tri-top slide profile with a user-replaceable front sight, a single-lug, tapered cone match-grade 1911 barrel, reduced frame rails that enhance reliability, and a durable, user-serviceable external extractor.

The 3.25-inch hand-fitted barrel is designed with the same potential for match-grade accuracy as its larger EDC X9 counterparts. Our skilled gunsmiths meticulously fine-tune each barrel for flawless reliability across a wide spectrum of target and defensive ammunition. Similar to other EDC X9 models, the SFX9 offers tool-free field stripping and can be fully disassembled using just a single punch. The stainless steel slide is adorned with the most advanced black DLC (Diamond-like-Carbon) physical vapor deposition finish available, featuring chromium and tungsten underlayers for enduring corrosion resistance and abrasion resilience.
