Q: HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO SHIP?
DUE TO COVID-19 BUYING AND IMPLICATIONS WE ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING UP TO 12 BUSINESS DAYS (14-16 actual days) AND POSSIBLY LONGER TO SHIP
A: Typical Firearm shipping times vary between 5-10 days possibly from receipt of FFL license, if we do not receive ffl license from receiving ffl this will be pushed back.
Q. I ONLY ORDERED AN ACCESSORY, WILL IT TAKE JUST AS LONG TO SHIP AS A FIREARM?
A. All orders are processed in the order they are received, whether it is a firearm or a flashlight makes no difference to shipping times.
Q: IF I SELECT AN FFL FROM YOUR WEBSITE DURING CHECKOUT DOES THAT MEAN YOU HAVE THEM ON FILE?
A: No, this is a general FFL list, please contact your receiving ffl and have them email their license to us. This is the customers responsibility to acquire and get sent to us. If receiving FFL requiries us to initiate the request please provide us with their email and submit a contact us. If you do not see your ffl from the dropdown list please choose a closeby FFL and email us the new one ASAP to FFL@BHARMORY.com
Q: HOW MUCH ARE SHIPPING CHARGES?
A: Shipping charges vary and can only be determined at checkout after you enter your address information.
Q: Shipping Charges seem high?
A: Shipping is calculated using a ship from, and ship minimum formula. Sometimes we have to source products from multiple places, so our shipping calculator asseses same/similiar charges to the customer as we are paying multiple shipping charges. Some of our distributors also have a shipping minimum charge that can be vary high, and our system will pass along that same shipping charge to the customer as we run off slim product margins.
Q: DO WE CHARGE CREDIT CARD FEES?
A: NO, we do not charge credit card fees.
Q: DO WE OFFER LAYAWAY?
A. NO, all items must be paid for in full at time of purchase, our website does offer financing thru Credova which may have promotional periods.
Q: ARE ALL FIREARMS WE SELL NEW?
A: All firearms we sell are NEW unless specifically mentioned in the listing as used or blemished. (Boxes may be opened to verify serial numbers/and or manufacturer for ATF Logging purposes)
Q: DO WE OFFER A LAW ENFORCMENT OR MILITARY DISCOUNT?
A: While we appreciate the service of our military and law enforcement, generally our prices are to low to discount further. If you have a specific request please submit the item UPC/ desired quantity to contact us
Q. WHAT DOES IN STOCK MEAN ON BATTLEHAWKARMORY.COM?
A. In stock means that it is either available in store to ship, or readily available to ship from one of our many distribution partners, their are instances where you place an order and it may be out of stock before we fulfill it. This is rare, but does happen. Inventory is not locked in on firearm orders until we have a valid physical copy of receiving FFL and we process the order.
Q: WHERE DOES MY ORDER SHIP FROM?
A: Your firearm order either ships from us in Iowa, or a distributor partner in Lousiana, Illinois, Texas, Indiana, Alabama, or Tennesseee, please make sure your receiving ffl will accept distributor dropships before placing the order.
Q: DO WE COLLECT SALES TAX IN YOUR STATE?
A: We collect sales tax in Iowa on all orders and use Tax Jar to collect sales tax on others where applicable, you must enter the checkout process to determine whether or not tax is applicable, most states we do not collect sales tax.
Q: HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER WITH BATTLEHAWK ARMORY?
A: Add items to your cart. A preview of your cart would appear each time prompting you to checkout the items. When checking out, provide your billing address (FFL selection will be based on your shipping location). Select the FFL Dealer that you know or is nearest to you. Pay via debit/credit card. Click on the Place Order button to place your order.
Q: HOW DO I KNOW THAT YOU RECEIVED THE ORDER I PLACED?
A: You will be sent an email confirmation that your order has been placed.
Q: DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT WHEN ORDERING?
A: No. But creating an account would give you access to order tracking, notifications and special promotions, you will not have access to order history if you create an acct at a later date.
Q: I LIVE OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES, CAN I STILL PLACE AN ORDER?
A: We only ship to the United States with the exception of California. We do not ship to California or outside of the continental United States.
Q: IS THERE A WARRANTY ON PRODUCTS THAT I PURCHASE?
A: Most new firearms and products are warranted by the manufacturer and product returns or repairs should be arranged directly with the manufacturer. We do not provide a warranty or repairs for any item we sell as warranties and/or repairs, if available, are provided by the manufacturer of the firearms or products purchased. Manufacturer defects, including cosmetic defects, must be handled by the manufacturer, please contact them for replacement or repair of your item.
Q: I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND AND WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL MY ORDER. ARE YOU CHARGING A CANCELLATION FEE?
A: The buyer is responsible for paying an 10% Order Cancellation Fee if you cancel your order for any reason before your order ships. Unfortunately, this is necessary in order to keep our prices low for all of our customers. Buyer is responsible for paying for original shipping costs, return shipping costs, and a 20% order stocking fee if you have to return the item after it ships and if a firearm before it is transferred, in order to keep our prices low for all of our customers. After items are submitted for fulfillment they generally cannot be cancelled. Please contact us to request cancel under these terms.
Q: I NEED TO RETURN A USED AND OR TRANSFERRED FIREARM.
A: Used or transferred firearms may not be returned. All sales are final.
Q: CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER ONCE IT'S BEEN PLACED?
A: Orders cannot be changed, added onto, combined, or edited once it is placed. Please make sure that your order is correct before placing your order.
Q: Why don't you ship to California?
A: As a business decision we do not ship to California. California requires all retailers to be compliant with PROP 65, we are not compliant. California requires all firearm retailers to register with their Department of Justice, go thru their roster to find out whether the firearm is legal, request permission to send firearms into the state, then wait for authorization to ship into the state, we are not registered with the Department of Justice. California requires all ammo purchases to ship to ffl's and not the end user. Many of our distributor partners will not ship to California for these reasons as well.
Q. I would like to place an order over the phone
A. Due to fraud we no longer accept phone orders, we have eliminated the ability on our end to even do so. All orders must be placed online with confirmed billing address and IP address matching your location.
Q. I live in a state with magazine restrictions and want to buy a gun
A. Please submit a contact us ticket and we will unlock it for purchase however the only solution we offer is to ship it with no magazines, we offer no discount, and do not substitute magazines either.
Q. I am local to Iowa and want to pick up a gun in store
A. If gun is available at our location it will have an In Store Pickup option after you enter all information. we only offer in store pickup for Iowa residents, and those specific guns available at our location. If you get any other shipping option those fees will apply to your gun purchase even if picked up at our location. We do not offer in store pickup for accessories as in store pricing is different.
Q. I want to return a purchase
A. We run a low price leader model so all sales are final, we do not accept returns. Any issues with your purchase must be taken up with manufacturer post sale.
Q. When will an item be available? Can I preorder it?
A. We are unable to provide in stock estimates for anything at this time, during these bleak inventory times we are trying to acquire as many firearms and other things as soon as we can, we really have no idea when distributors/manufacturers will receive/make items, nor when they are available, nor if we will receive allocation on them. We are not accepting preorders as we cannot guarantee in stock pricing will match out of stock pricing.
Q. Can I be notified when an item is in stock?
A. Please signup for an account and a wishlist notification and as soon as inventory is available you will get an automated email, in order to find out of stock items to add to your wishlist you will need to unselect "hide out of stock" in the search fields.
