With rolling plains and fertile farmland, Iowa produces some of the largest bucks in the country. These monster Midwestern whitetails make it a hotspot for residents and visitors to chase a trophy buck.
With archery, firearm, and muzzleloader seasons ranging from September to January, residents can purchase deer tags and non-residents can apply in a lottery with a quota of 6,000 tags.
