The EBR-8 BDC MOA reticle, located in the first focal plane, scales with magnification to maintain accurate holdovers, ranging, and subtensions at any power setting. Optimized for common .223/5.56 and .308 loads, the reticle allows shooters to quickly engage targets from point-blank distances out to extended ranges using clearly defined BDC hold points. Motion-activated illumination automatically powers the reticle when movement is detected, while a 10-minute auto shut-off helps conserve battery life when the optic is idle.

Vortex’s advanced optical system uses fully multi-coated lenses to maximize light transmission and deliver bright, high-contrast images with excellent edge-to-edge clarity.
