The LAT — Match Grade Performance Meets Assisted Reset

The Triggered Company LAT is a service-rifle-inspired, match-grade 3-Position AR-15 Assisted Reset Trigger designed as a premium refinement of The Triggered Company's signature Disruptor.

Where the Disruptor focuses on simplicity, reliability, and value, the LAT takes the trigger system to the next level, delivering a greatly improved trigger pull in standard semi-automatic mode while preserving enhanced assisted-reset operation in the third position.

At the heart of the LAT is a dedicated internal reset lever. In standard semi-automatic mode, the selector completely disables both the assisted-reset function and the out-of-battery safety mechanism associated with that system. The result is a crisp, single-stage 3–3.5 lb trigger pull with no assisted-reset function active during standard semi-automatic operation.

Move the selector into the third ARSE — Assisted Reset Semi Enhanced position and the LAT activates its assisted-reset and out-of-battery safety functions to provide the enhanced semi-automatic performance the system was designed around.

For shooters who want the capabilities of The Triggered Company's three-position system but place a premium on the quality of the standard semi-automatic trigger pull, the LAT is the premium choice.

LAT vs. Disruptor

The LAT represents a more sophisticated evolution of the system used in The Triggered Company's Disruptor.

The Disruptor simplifies the internal design by combining the reset lever and main trigger component while incorporating an out-of-battery safety system.

The LAT spares no expense, retaining a dedicated reset lever while incorporating the same key safety concept. This allows the selector to completely disengage the assisted-reset system in standard semi-automatic mode, giving the LAT its improved conventional trigger characteristics.

Named in Honor of Larry Alan Thorne

The LAT is named in honor of Larry Alan Thorne, born Lauri Allan Törni, whose extraordinary military career spanned three countries and multiple conflicts.

Thorne first fought against the Soviet Union as a Finnish soldier during World War II. After eventually making his way to the United States, he joined the U.S. Army and became a member of the U.S. Army Special Forces.

Major Larry Alan Thorne was killed while serving in Vietnam in 1965. His remains were recovered decades later, identified in 2003, and he is now buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

His U.S. military decorations included the Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, and other awards.

The LAT carries his initials as a tribute to a remarkable military career and legacy.
