The GX4 XL’s 3.71" barrel and lengthened slide increase muzzle velocity and widen the sight radius, resulting in better control and confidence during rapid strings of fire. Taurus’s T.O.R.O. (Taurus Optic Ready Option) system uses the RMSc footprint for direct mounting of the most popular micro red dots—no adapter plate required. When running irons, shooters benefit from a blackout serrated rear sight paired with a high-visibility white-dot front.

A DLC-coated stainless barrel and gas-nitride–treated slide deliver durability, wear resistance, and smoother cycling through high round counts. Two interchangeable backstraps allow a custom ergonomic fit, while the flat-face target trigger offers a clean, predictable break with a short, tactile reset for faster follow-ups. Defensive-minded features—such as a reversible magazine release, RMP indexing pad, grip/mag cuts for emergency stripping, and an integrated Picatinny rail—round out its concealed-carry versatility.
