NFA The MFMD-MD is an NFA-regulated, hearing-safe suppressor built as a standalone muzzle device for 5.56/.223 rifles using a 1/2x28 thread pattern. Engineered to deliver extreme signature and recoil reduction without the SD or SDX modules. Compact form installs directly to the barrel using the included shim set and tool--no adapters required. The system requires 1.3" of over-the-barrel clearance measured from the barrel shoulder to the first obstruction. If the clearance isn't available, the device will not seat properly. The 1.3" over-the-barrel design telescopes back over the barrel--superior weight distribution and minimized overall weapon footprint compared to conventional forward-mounting suppressors. Requires 1.3" clearance from barrel shoulder to first obstruction. If the clearance isn't available, the device will not seat properly.

Flow-Through Inconel Construction

3D-printed monolithic Inconel construction with flow-through internal geometry manages gas forward--eliminates traditional baffles and backpressure increase. Bolt velocity change ?2% from baseline.

98% Flash Reduction

Approximately 98% flash reduction vs. baseline flash hider. The reflex design and flow-through geometry dramatically reduce visible flash signature--critical for night vision operations and preserving dark adaptation.

23 dB Sound Reduction

Approximately 23 dB sound reduction at right ear vs. baseline--MD-only, no SDX required. The 1.3" OTB configuration achieves significantly greater sound reduction than the 0.0" flush variant.

63% Recoil Reduction

Approximately 63% rearward recoil reduction vs. baseline. The forward gas venting and reflex geometry redirect propellant energy--reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise for faster follow-up shots.

FDE Finish

Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish coordinates with FDE-configured weapon systems and accessories.

No Bolt Velocity Change

Bolt velocity change of ?2% vs. baseline across all firing schedules. The flow-through design does not alter weapon cycling characteristics--no adjustable gas block required on host weapon.

Direct Thread Installation

1/2x28 direct thread installation using included shims and torque tool. No adapters required--precise alignment achieved with included hardware.
