The SIG516 G3 11.5" SBR brings the SIG516 G3 platform into a compact rifle configuration, combining a short-stroke piston operating system with fully ambidextrous controls and a free-floating M-LOK handguard. Its compact configuration provides a maneuverable platform while retaining the piston-driven operating system of the SIG516 G3 family.

A 3-position adjustable gas system allows the rifle to be tuned for varying ammunition types and operating conditions. Steel-reinforced components in high-wear areas enhance durability, while rear and side non-reciprocating charging handles provide flexible manipulation from either side.

The 11.5-inch cold hammer-forged steel barrel features a 1:7 twist and 1/2"-28 tapered-shoulder threads. A Matchlite Duo curved trigger, AR-compatible reduced-angle grip, six-position Magpul DT stock, and SIG Flash Hider-Compensator complete the configuration. The rifle uses AR-15 magazines and includes one 30-round polymer magazine.
