The Rearden SPB muzzle brake provides dual suppressor mounting compatibility with both Rearden Atlas/Atlas XL systems and Plan B type mounts. Precision-machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel with a distinctive rainbow black PVD finish, the SPB features 5/8-24 threading and .375-inch bore for .30 caliber rifles. Atlas adapter overrun measures approximately 1.050 inches while Atlas XL adapter has no overrun. The nitride finish creates a tighter seal, making proper torquing and Rocksett application critical. Shims included for precise timing and alignment.

The SPB works with both Rearden Atlas/Atlas XL and Plan B type mounting systems, providing versatility for use with multiple suppressor brands and models. This dual compatibility eliminates the need for different muzzle devices when switching between suppressors or mounting standards.

Machined from 17-4 PH precipitation-hardened stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability. The rainbow black PVD coating provides exceptional wear resistance and distinctive aesthetics while resisting scratching and chemical attack.

5/8-24 Threading - .375 Bore

Standard 5/8-24 thread pitch fits .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, .300 Blackout, and similar .30 caliber rifles. The .375-inch bore accommodates projectiles up to .375 caliber.

Nitride Finish Creates Tighter Seal

The nitride finish treatment creates a tighter seal between muzzle device and suppressor compared to uncoated surfaces. This enhanced sealing requires proper installation—torque the muzzle device to approximately 30 ft-lbs and apply Rocksett to ensure secure attachment to the barrel shoulder.

Installation and Alignment

Always use an alignment rod to ensure proper system setup. Clean all mating surfaces thoroughly. Torque muzzle device to approximately 30 ft-lbs and apply Rocksett. Ensure the device is square against the shoulder. When attaching suppressors, verify threads and tapers are clean, then torque to 10 ft-lbs. Verify alignment before firing.
