The Primary Weapons Systems MK110 ALPHA is a limited-production 5.56 NATO SBR built around PWS's long-stroke piston operating system, adjustable gas system, and premium components. With only 150 rifles produced and each individually numbered, the MK110 ALPHA represents a distinctive configuration for shooters and collectors looking for a purpose-built PWS platform.

At the heart of the MK110 ALPHA is the PWS long-stroke piston system, paired with a 3-setting adjustable gas system that allows the rifle to be configured for different ammunition and operating conditions. The exposed Gas Adjustment Knob provides convenient access while leaving the top rail clear for mounted accessories.

The 10.5-inch 416 stainless steel barrel uses a 1:7 twist rate selected to support heavier projectiles in the short-barreled configuration. Chambered in 5.56x45mm, the MK110 ALPHA is designed around a broad range of 5.56 NATO ammunition, including 55-grain through 77-grain loads.

PWS pairs the short barrel with an A5 buffer system consisting of an A5 buffer tube, A5 Green SprinCo spring, and A5H2 buffer. This combination is designed to provide a smoother recoil impulse and controlled cycling.

The ALPHA lower receiver incorporates ambidextrous controls, including the PWS MOD 2-M Enhanced Bolt Release with right-side lever, proprietary ambidextrous magazine release, and Radian Talon safety selector. The Talon can be configured for either a 45- or 90-degree throw.

The ALPHA handguard uses a steel plate-reinforced M-LOK rail with hardened screws and anti-rotation tabs for a rigid accessory mounting platform. At the muzzle, the PWS FRC compensator provides recoil mitigation and flash suppression while supporting HUB-compatible suppressor mounting systems through its tapered interface.
