The Orthos Arms Raider S4 Black SBS is a compact 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun built around Orthos Arms’ patented SHOCK FORCE recoil system and a feature set designed for controllable, efficient operation. With its 14-inch chrome-lined barrel, M-LOK aluminum handguard, adjustable stock and compact 33.5-inch overall length, the Raider S4 Black SBS delivers a maneuverable platform without abandoning the handling features of a full-size shotgun.

At the heart of the Raider S4 is the SHOCK FORCE recoil system, integrated into the adjustable stock to help manage recoil during extended shooting sessions. The synthetic adjustable-comb stock and adjustable cheek pad allow the shooter to establish a more consistent fit, while the rubber-overmolded grip provides a secure interface with the controls.

The Raider S4 also features a T6 7075 hardened aluminum receiver, chrome-lined 4140 steel barrel and M-LOK aluminum handguard. A top-mounted Picatinny rail provides an interface for compatible optics and accessories, while the ghost-ring rear sight pairs with Orthos Arms’ FIBERTRON LED fiber-optic front sight. The integrated LED provides a subtle glow to the fiber-optic element for improved sight visibility.

Operation is supported by an oversized charging handle, enhanced bolt-release lever, spring-assist ejector and oversized safety switch. The Benelli-standard choke system provides compatibility with appropriate choke tubes, and the 3-inch chamber accepts both 3-inch and 2¾-inch ammunition.

Ammunition & Break-In

Orthos Arms recommends ammunition with a velocity of 1,250 FPS or higher for consistent cycling. The manufacturer recommends a break-in period of 50 rounds using high-brass heavy loads at 1,300 FPS or higher, followed by cleaning and application of a reputable gun oil.
