The 18-inch SPR barrel is manufactured from 416R stainless steel and uses a 1:7 twist with three-land-and-groove rifling. A rifle-length gas system is paired with a low-profile 0.750-inch gas block pinned to the barrel. The M4 barrel extension uses extended hand-polished feed ramps to support reliable feeding.
