The Noveske 4th Generation N4 Light Afghan in Black is a compact 5.56 NATO rifle built around a 14.5-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel and PNW attached Long Pig Pen flash hider. The specialized barrel, 13.5-inch NSR handguard, Noveske Single Stage trigger, and ambidextrous controls create a professional-grade rifle package.

14.5-Inch Light Afghan Cold-Hammer-Forged Barrel

The 14.5-inch Light Afghan cold-hammer-forged barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1:7 twist. It uses a mid-length gas system and a Noveske-marked low-profile 0.750-inch gas block pinned to the barrel. The M4 barrel extension and extended feed-ramp arrangement support reliable feeding.

Handguard and Muzzle Configuration

A 13.5-inch NSR free-floating M-LOK handguard provides accessory-mounting space while closely matching the barrel length. A Long Pig Pen flash hider is installed on 1/2x28 threads and pinned and welded to the 14.5-inch barrel.

Receiver Set and Operating Components

The Noveske 4th Generation billet upper and lower receivers are finished in Black Cerakote. The upper uses a black Love Handle charging handle and the anti-rotation handguard interface. The operating group uses a phosphate-coated carrier with a chrome-lined bore and key, paired with a heat-treated Carpenter 158 bolt that is magnetic-particle inspected.

Trigger and Ambidextrous Controls

A Noveske Single Stage trigger is paired with a Radian Talon ambidextrous safety, ambidextrous bolt drop, and ambidextrous magazine catch. These controls provide efficient operation from either side.

Furniture and Sighting System

A black B5 Systems Bravo stock and black Type 23 pistol grip complete the furniture. Magpul MBUS Pro steel sights provide a durable folding backup sighting system.
