Noveske Gen 4 N4 Rival 5.56 Rifle - Black

The Noveske Gen 4 N4 Rival is a competition-focused 5.56 rifle whose defining feature is a 17-inch stainless steel Rival barrel. The fluted barrel, adjustable gas system, low-mass operating components, 3.5-pound CMC trigger, and offset MBUS Pro sights create a specialized configuration built around rapid handling and precise barrel control.

17-Inch Rival 416R Stainless Steel Barrel

The 17-inch Rival barrel is manufactured from 416R stainless steel with a 1:7 twist. It is fluted forward of the gas block and individually serialized for quality-control traceability. The barrel includes a hand-polished Noveske Match chamber, an intermediate-length gas system, and a Superlative Arms low-profile adjustable gas block with a 0.750-inch journal pinned to the barrel. An M4 barrel extension with extended hand-polished feed ramps supports reliable feeding.

Handguard and Muzzle Configuration

A 15-inch NSR free-floating M-LOK handguard provides a long support surface and accessory-mounting room. The muzzle uses a Noveske 2-port muzzle brake on 1/2x28 threads. The brake and adjustable gas block form a coordinated front-end system that allows the rifle's operating characteristics to be tuned around the stainless Rival barrel.

Receiver Set and Operating Components

The Gen 4 billet upper and lower receivers are finished in Black Cerakote. The operating group uses a JP Enterprises low-mass operating system carrier with a diamond-like coating, paired with a Carpenter 158 bolt that is heat treated and magnetic-particle inspected. A Geissele Super Badass ambidextrous charging handle provides action access from either side.

Trigger and Ambidextrous Controls

A Noveske-marked CMC curved trigger provides a 3.5-pound single-stage pull. A Radian Talon ambidextrous safety, ambidextrous bolt drop, and ambidextrous magazine catch complete the control package.

Furniture and Sighting System

The rifle uses a black B5 Systems Bravo stock and black Type 23 pistol grip. Magpul MBUS Pro 45-degree offset sights provide a mechanical sighting system positioned away from the primary optic line.
