3x Magpul PMAG 40 GEN M3 Magazines

The Magpul PMAG 40 GEN M3 is a 40-round polymer magazine for AR-15/M4-compatible firearms chambered in 5.56x45 NATO and .223 Remington. The GEN M3 incorporates updated materials and manufacturing processes engineered for strength, durability and reliable feeding.

While optimized for Colt-spec AR-15/M4 platforms, the GEN M3's modified internal and external geometry expands compatibility to additional platforms, including the HK416, MR556A1, M27 IAR, British SA-80, FN SCAR MK 16/16S and other compatible firearms.

Each magazine features a long-life stainless steel spring, four-way anti-tilt follower and constant-curve internal geometry for consistent feeding. Tool-less disassembly simplifies routine cleaning and maintenance.

GEN M3 Design & Durability

The PMAG 40 GEN M3 incorporates a redesigned rear bolt-catch notch for increased clearance along with an over-travel stop on the spine that helps prevent over-insertion in compatible firearms.

Low-profile ribs and aggressive front and rear texturing provide positive handling, while Magpul's paint-pen dot matrix makes it easy to identify and organize individual magazines.

The flared floorplate assists with magazine extraction and handling while providing additional drop protection. Each PMAG 40 also includes a pop-off impact/dust cover designed to minimize debris intrusion and help protect the top cartridge during storage and transport.

3x Die Free Co Dos Boot +2 Extensions

This bundle also includes one Die Free Co Dos Boot +2 Extension 3-Pack in Black—enough to upgrade all three included PMAG 40 GEN M3 magazines.

Each Dos Boot replaces the factory GEN M3 baseplate and provides a +2-round capacity increase. Installed on the included 40-round PMAGs, that brings each magazine to a 42-round configured capacity.

The extended Dos Boot also creates a broader, convex base that can be used as a magazine monopod when firing from the prone position. Aggressive tread provides additional contact with the shooting surface while also creating a pronounced gripping area for magazine handling and removal.

Tool-Less Drop-In Upgrade

The Dos Boot is designed as a tool-less, drop-in baseplate replacement for compatible Magpul PMAG GEN M3 magazines. Its impact-resistant injection-molded polymer construction provides a durable extension without requiring permanent modification to the magazine body.

Die Free Co specifies Dos Boot compatibility with 10-, 20-, 30- and 40-round PMAG GEN M3 magazines, making it a natural match for the three PMAG 40 magazines included in this bundle.
