With the Dos Boots installed, each compatible 30-round PMAG gains two additional rounds of capacity, increasing each magazine to 32 rounds while adding an aggressive gripping surface and extended base designed to function as a convenient magazine monopod.

3x Magpul PMAG 30 GEN M3 Magazines

The Magpul PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a 30-round polymer magazine designed for AR-15/M4-pattern firearms chambered in 5.56x45 NATO and .223 Remington. The GEN M3 incorporates updated materials, geometry and manufacturing processes for excellent strength, durability and feeding reliability.

Although optimized for Colt-spec AR-15/M4 platforms, its modified internal and external geometry provides broad compatibility with many STANAG-pattern firearms, including the M16, HK416, MR556, M27 IAR, FN SCAR 16/16S, IWI Tavor and other compatible platforms.

Each PMAG features a long-life USGI-spec stainless steel spring, four-way anti-tilt follower and constant-curve internal geometry to promote smooth, consistent feeding. Tool-less disassembly makes routine cleaning and maintenance straightforward.

GEN M3 Improvements

Magpul's GEN M3 design includes a redesigned bolt-catch notch for increased clearance and an over-travel stop that helps prevent over-insertion in compatible firearms.

Aggressive front and rear texturing and low-profile ribs provide positive handling, while the paint-pen dot matrix allows individual magazines to be easily marked and identified. The flared floorplate assists with magazine extraction and handling while maintaining compatibility with many double and triple magazine pouches.

3x Die Free Co Dos Boot +2 Extensions

Also included is a Die Free Co Dos Boot +2 Extension 3-Pack in Black. Each Dos Boot replaces the factory base plate on a compatible PMAG GEN M3 and adds two rounds of magazine capacity.

Install one on each of the three included PMAG 30 GEN M3 magazines to create three 32-round magazines.

The Dos Boot also provides an extended, convex base that can serve as a magazine monopod when shooting from the prone position. Its aggressive tread provides additional contact with the ground while creating a pronounced gripping surface for magazine handling and removal.

Tool-Less Drop-In Design

The Dos Boot is designed as a tool-less, drop-in replacement for the factory PMAG GEN M3 base plate. Its injection-molded polymer construction is designed to withstand hard use without permanently modifying the magazine body.

Die Free Co specifies the Dos Boot for compatible 10-, 20-, 30- and 40-round Magpul PMAG GEN M3 magazines.
