Korth Mongoose, .357mag, 5.25" Barrel, 6rd Cylinder, Custom Hogue Grips, Revolver

Korth Mongoose, .357 Mag, 5.25-inch, 6-Shot, Custom Hogue, Black DLC, Revolver

The Korth Mongoose is a six-shot .357 Magnum revolver with a 5.25-inch barrel, black DLC finish and custom Hogue Korth hardwood grips. This configuration brings a distinctive grip treatment to the Mongoose, combining the Moonhawk logo, checkering, finger grooves and a stripe cap with a round-butt grip profile.

The revolver also includes a separate set of rubber grips, supplied uninstalled. Its custom polished roller trigger supports both double- and single-action operation, while an adjustable rear sight and 14K gold bead front sight complete the specified sighting system. The result is a specialized Mongoose configuration with clearly defined grip options.

5.25-Inch Barrel and Six-Shot Configuration

The 5.25-inch barrel is the exact barrel specification for this Mongoose. It pairs with a six-round .357 Magnum cylinder and a fully machined construction. Those details define the core revolver configuration and provide a useful starting point when comparing Mongoose variants or selecting fitted accessories.

The custom double- and single-action polished roller trigger adds a refined mechanical feature to that foundation. Its two operating modes allow the revolver to suit both deliberate single-action shooting and double-action use without changing the firearm's configuration.

Custom Hogue Hardwood Grips

The custom Hogue Korth grips are the standout appointment. Checkered hardwood provides texture, while finger grooves give the grip a contoured shape. The round-butt profile, stripe cap and Moonhawk logo distinguish these grips from a plain wood or rubber treatment.

Grip shape is an important part of revolver fit. Finger grooves provide defined hand positions, so personal hand size and grip preference remain useful considerations. The wood species is not specified, and the hardwood should not be assumed to be Turkish walnut merely because other Korth variants use that material.

Black DLC Finish and Gold Bead Sight

The black diamond-like carbon (DLC) finish gives the Mongoose a dark exterior that contrasts with the hardwood grips. It is the specified coated finish for the revolver, rather than a generic black color description. Together, the dark metal surfaces and detailed wood grips create the configuration's visual identity.

The 14K gold bead front sight provides a distinct front aiming reference. An adjustable rear sight allows the sight setting to be matched to the selected load and shooting distance. The gold bead is a conventional iron-sight feature rather than an electronic or self-illuminating optic.

Additional Rubber Grips and Accessory Fit

Rubber grips are included as a separate, uninstalled set. That gives the package an additional grip option while keeping the custom Hogue hardwood treatment as its defining configuration. The spare set should be distinguished from an extra installed grip or a second firearm.

Choose holsters and fitted accessories for the exact 5.25-inch Mongoose and account for its grip shape. An additional caliber-conversion cylinder is not specified, so the included configuration remains the six-shot .357 Magnum revolver with the two grip sets described here.
