Proprietary steel with nitride coating for low wear and low friction. The 60° angle requires the most force to open the action, slowing the cycle for high-pressure configurations where the bolt cycles violently or the SCS bottoms out noticeably in the buffer tube. Note: under-delaying the JP-5 combined with high-pressure ammo can damage the gun—do not go below the appropriate angle for your configuration. Compatible with H&K MP5 and MP5 clones that accept H&K lock pieces. Validate bolt gap after installation.
