Item 90500 uses a 125-grain FTX at 1,500 feet per second and 624 foot-pounds from Hornady’s test barrel. The Flex Tip fills the hollow point so heavy clothing does not pack the cavity shut before the bullet opens.

Nickel-plated cases make the round easy to see in low light and slow down corrosion in a carry gun. The powder is temperature stable and loaded to keep flash down. This is a defense cartridge for .357 Magnum revolvers, not a practice FMJ.
