Hesion Bow Dual-Locking Mount
The Hesion Bow is the SIXK's primary interface system. Primary lock is a 15-degree taper over 0.25" of length combined with a 1-1/8"-8 left-hand American Buttress Thread—15 ft./lbs. of torque generates over 1,700 lbs. of sealing force. Less than 2.5 rotations to full taper lock. Six flexure pawls printed into the suppressor body engage 32 grooves on the outer edge of the muzzle device as a secondary redundant retention system. The Hesion Bow locking system adds only 0.5 oz. to the overall system weight.
1/2x28 Hybrid Flash Hider — Included
Hybrid Flash Hider (HFH) on 1/2x28 threads included with this bundle. The HFH is the appropriate muzzle device for hosts that will spend meaningful time both suppressed and unsuppressed—provides stronger unsuppressed flash management and better host behavior when the suppressor is removed compared to Flow Enhancer options.
Extreme Low Backpressure Gas Management
Gas enters a radial diamond structure in the initial chamber, gets disrupted and cooled, then routes into annular pathways before reaching the first blast baffle. The goal is immediate pressure distribution across the suppressor rather than a pressure event at the blast baffle. The result is host cycling behavior closer to the unsuppressed baseline without requiring adjustable gas blocks, heavier buffers, or spring changes.
Monolithic Inconel 718 — LPBF Construction
Inconel 718 provides dimensional stability, erosion resistance, and thermal cycling durability under hard use with 6mm ARC and 5.56. LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) 3D printing enables internal geometry—annular intakes, helix paths, shielded ports, and integral pawls—that cannot be produced through conventional machining. The blast baffle zone receives dedicated hardening treatment against premature erosion. Fully sealed monolithic unit—no baffles to remove, no user-serviceable internals.
Full-Auto Rated / No Host Tuning Required
Full-auto rated for 10.3" barrels and above. Minimum recommended barrel length is 10.3" for 5.56 and 6mm—shorter barrels increase blast baffle erosion and raise projectile stability risk. Designed to mount and function without host modification required on any compatible firearm.
Installation Notes
Install HFH to barrel at 30 ft./lbs.—timing not required, threadlocker not normally required. Cycle the mount 5–7 times on a new system during break-in. A slight rear gap when mounted confirms proper taper seating. Always use an alignment rod before first firing. Clean taper and mating surfaces before each mount to ensure proper seating.
