The G17 Gen6 keeps the proven reliability that defines the platform while refining nearly every point of user interaction.

The frame introduces a palm swell, extended thumb rest, and enlarged beavertail that come together to create a locked-in, repeatable grip. GLOCK’s new dual-texture pattern covers more real estate, offering traction where it matters without becoming abrasive during long sessions. Deeper, more aggressive slide serrations enhance control during manipulations—whether gloved, wet, or on the clock.

A flat-faced trigger—now standard in Gen6—provides a cleaner index and more consistent press while retaining the Safe Action® System’s dependable safeguards. The re-engineered undercut trigger guard and reduced frame-to-trigger distance allow for a higher purchase and easier reach across a wider range of hand sizes.

Every standard-frame G17 Gen6 is optic-ready and includes three precision-fit plates. The new mounting system allows a variety of popular footprints to mount directly to the slide, increasing strength, reducing stack height, and ensuring durability under hard use.
