The FÉG Hungarian Dragunov-18 Sporting Rifle is back in production after 50 years as a heritage of license-manufactured Hungarian SzVD Scoped Rifle. The improved HD-18 is a New-Production; FÉG Hungarian Developed, Manufactured, Assembled and, with Quality Assurances Semi-Automatic Sporting Rifle. Hungarian Manufactured PSzO-1M2 Target Scope is factory-matched to the HD-18.

The product model was developed, manufactured and assembled by FÉG Védelmi Rendszerek Zrt. (FEG Defense Systems CJSC) in Hungary as a Dedicated Sporting Rifle, accordingly to meet the importation guidelines enumerated in the Gun Control Act. The HD-18 was submitted to the Application and Permit for Importation of Firearms, and approved by the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearm and Explosives (ATF) as a Sporting Rifle. Our FÉG product was tested, qualified and certified by the Hungarian Civilian Small Arms and Ammunition Testing Facility ("PKLV" Proof House of Budapest) in conformity with C.I.P. specification.
