Inconel FireTeam556

At the heart of the package is the Exigent Defense FireTeam556, a purpose-built 5.56 NATO suppressor constructed from Inconel to withstand the demanding heat and pressure associated with rifle suppressor use.

The FireTeam556 uses the industry-standard 1.375x24 HUB/Bravo mounting interface, providing flexibility in mounting-system selection. This package takes advantage of that versatility by including the complete Comstock recessed Plan-B system.

Comstock RPA Recessed Plan-B Adapter

The Comstock Armory RPA (Recessed Profile Adapter) is what makes this configuration especially compact.

Rather than extending the mounting system farther behind the suppressor, the RPA positions the muzzle device approximately 0.40" deeper than Comstock's standard LPA, while adding only approximately 0.18" to overall suppressor length.

Constructed from 17-4 PH stainless steel with a black nitride finish, the RPA weighs just 2.1 ounces and threads directly into the FireTeam556's standard HUB interface.

The result is the convenience of a Plan-B compatible taper-mount system while minimizing unnecessary added length.

Comstock Recessed Micro Brake

The included Comstock Armory Recessed Micro Brake completes the system on the firearm side.

Featuring 1/2x28 threads and a 5.56 bore, the Micro Brake was specifically designed for use with recessed suppressor mounting systems. Its compact profile minimizes protrusion into the suppressor and helps provide the necessary clearance for the RPA's recessed design.

Unlike many traditional muzzle brakes, the Comstock Micro Brake does not require timing or shims, simplifying installation. Its brake design can also help reduce recoil and direct blast-baffle exposure.
