This Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 S Short Barreled Rifle Build Kit combines the 11.5" DDM4 V7 S 5.56mm Upper Receiver Group, a Daniel Defense DDM4 Complete Lower Receiver Group, the contract-derived Vortex AMG “Eleanor” EBR-22L 1-10x24 MOA riflescope, and an RPM Delta 34mm cantilever mount.

The result is essentially everything needed to configure a premium 11.5" Daniel Defense platform—highlighted by an optic that isn't currently part of Vortex's normal commercial lineup.

Vortex AMG “Eleanor” — The Centerpiece of This Package

The star of this build kit is the Vortex AMG “Eleanor” EBR-22L 1-10x24 MOA riflescope.

Project “Eleanor” was born from a British Ministry of Defence special forces requirement for a lightweight close-quarters combat (CQB) optic capable of retaining the precision and magnification needed for longer-range engagements.

That requirement presented an ambitious challenge: create an optic capable of delivering the speed and usability desired at close distances without giving up meaningful magnification and precision as distances increase.

The result was Eleanor.

The Vortex AMG Eleanor combines a broad 1-10x magnification range with a 24mm objective, 34mm main tube, MOA adjustments and the EBR-22L reticle.

At the low end of its magnification range, Eleanor reflects the CQB role behind its original requirement. Dialing up through the magnification range provides substantially greater observation and precision capability, reaching 10x at the top end.

This Isn't a Standard Commercial Vortex Scope

Eleanor isn't simply another Vortex LPVO pulled from the company's normal commercial catalog.

It is a contract-oriented riflescope originating from a British Ministry of Defence special forces requirement, giving the optic an unusual history and making it particularly interesting for shooters and collectors interested in specialized military and contract-developed optics.

For now, the only way to get the Vortex AMG Eleanor from BattleHawk Armory is through one of these specially configured packages.

Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 S 11.5" Upper Receiver Group

The Eleanor is paired with the Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 S Upper Receiver Group, chambered in 5.56mm and featuring an 11.5-inch barrel.

The compact 11.5" configuration is an especially fitting platform for the Eleanor concept: a relatively compact firearm configuration paired with an optic designed around providing capability from close distances through longer-range observation and precision.

The upper is finished in black to match the included Daniel Defense lower receiver group.

Daniel Defense DDM4 Complete Lower Receiver Group

Unlike the upper-and-optic package, this SBR Build Kit also includes a complete Daniel Defense DDM4 Lower Receiver Group, giving you the Daniel Defense foundation to complete the firearm once all applicable legal requirements have been satisfied.

The DDM4 lower is precision CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type III hard coat anodized finish.

Daniel Defense equips the lower with an enhanced flared magazine well, integrated rear QD swivel attachment point, Mil-Spec trigger, ambidextrous safety, H buffer and 6-position 7075-T6 receiver extension.

It is completed with Daniel Defense's glass-filled polymer buttstock and pistol grip featuring soft-touch overmolding.

ASSEMBLING THE INCLUDED 11.5" UPPER RECEIVER ONTO THE INCLUDED STOCK-EQUIPPED LOWER RECEIVER WILL GENERALLY RESULT IN THE MAKING OF A SHORT-BARRELED RIFLE (SBR).

Short-barreled rifles are subject to federal and potentially state and local regulation. Do not assemble or configure these components into an SBR unless and until you are legally authorized to do so.

Depending on applicable law and your circumstances, making an SBR may require prior approval from ATF, including an approved ATF Form 1, and compliance with applicable provisions of the National Firearms Act (NFA), Gun Control Act (GCA), and all state and local laws.

It is the purchaser's responsibility to understand and comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws before assembling or configuring these components.
