At the heart of this system is a carbine-length gas system with a pinned low-profile gas block for reliability under rapid fire. The included GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle, M16 profile bolt carrier group, and Daniel Defense flash suppressor round out a package that’s combat-ready right out of the box. Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type III hard coat anodize, this upper represents the pinnacle of short-barrel performance.
