The MkW Anvil platform is designed to properly handle calibers with large casing diameters and significant bolt thrust. It is built on CMMG's ultra-durable mid-sized platform and featuring the unique PowerBOLT design. It features mid-sized receivers carved from billet 7075-T6 aluminum. The MkW Anvil also has CMMG SV brake with 5/824" threads. This model has a 15" handguard. NOTE: The CMMG Mid-sized receivers for the "Anvil" uppers is a hybrid AR platform. The CMMG Mid-sized receivers are not compatible with standard AR-15 (CMMG Mk4) or .308 Win (CMMG Mk3) platforms.
