The Browning 1911-22 is scaled at 85% of the full-size 1911, and features controls that operate just as those in the original Browning-designed Model 1911. A straight blowback action offers enhanced simplicity and reliability while polished feed ramp offers reliable feeding. Vertical serrations on the slide provide an improved cocking grip. The button-rifled, target crowned steel barrel is reliable, accurate and designed to provide years of fast-shooting. The 1911-22 also has a grip and manual thumb safeties, single-action trigger pull, and a steel slide block encloses the firing pin and extractor. This Black Label model utilizes a composite frame with an accessory rail and machined 7075 aluminum subframe, slide rails, and slide. It has a 4.25" barrel, black laminated and stippled grips, checkered front strap, and extended slide release. Included is a 10-round magazine.
