While the original Mk262/77gr SMK’s BC is very close to that of the 147-150 gr 7.62x51mm’s ballistic performance, the new polymer tip bullet of Black Hills 77 gr TMK gives it the long range performance near the heavier 168 gr .308 caliber bullet.

Unlike a typical MatchKing, this round’s OTM has a cannelure to prevent the bullet from shifting out of its seating depth while the cartridge is jerked by recoil in the magazine.
