Compatibility & Setup

To ensure reliable operation, your rifle must meet these requirements:

• Mil-Spec Trigger with no relief cut (rear of trigger squared off—no “U” notch).

• Lower Receiver must feature an FA Pocket or Low Shelf.

• FA Bolt Carrier Group required.

• H2 or H3 buffer weight strongly recommended.

  • Minimum H2 buffer (H3 recommended) for firearms with carbine extensions and 16” or shorter barrels

  • Standard rifle buffer for 20” A2 stocks

• Purchase an H2 Buffer HERE or an H3 Buffer HERE

⚠️ Compatibility Notes:

• AR9 variants may require professional gunsmithing.

• Will not work with AR-10 (LR308)/SR-25 platforms without significant gunsmithing. (A dedicated model is in development.)

• “Super Safety” modified firearms may not be compatible due to the FRS solid lever cam design.

• Selector Screw: T10, 4/40 thread, McMaster-Carr spring (9657K619). Torque: 15 in/lbs with blue Loctite only.
