Enclosed Optical Channel for Demanding Conditions

An enclosed emitter places the light source inside the optic housing instead of leaving the path between emitter and lens exposed. This construction addresses an important practical concern on an outdoor handgun: debris reaching that optical path. Protective front and rear glass also shield the reflective lens system. Keep the exterior lenses clean so the sight picture remains usable.

The housing uses hard-anodized 7075-T6 aluminum, and the sight is rated for submersion to 35 meters. These features support a professional-grade optic intended for demanding environments without requiring an oversized sight body.

A 3.5 MOA Dot with Adjustable Intensity

MOA means minute of angle, an angular measurement describing how much of a target the dot covers. A 3.5 MOA dot offers a defined visual reference while leaving useful target detail visible. The red aiming point appears in the sight window; it is not a laser projected onto the target.

Brightness should suit the surrounding light. Excessive intensity can make the apparent dot larger, while a lower setting can produce a cleaner-looking point when conditions allow. The P-2 provides six daylight settings and four night-vision-compatible settings. Night-vision compatibility describes low dot intensities for use with separate night-vision equipment, not an ability to display an illuminated nighttime scene by itself.

Battery Access and Aluminum Cap

The CR2032 battery is accessible without removing the optic from its mount. That layout lets routine battery replacement leave the mounting interface undisturbed. Constant operation is rated at 50,000 hours on setting 6; the selected intensity and operating conditions affect actual service life.

An aluminum battery cap is already included with this configuration, so there is no need to purchase that component separately to obtain this version. The cap closes the battery compartment, and the supplied tool supports battery-cap access and the appropriate sight fastener.

ACRO Fitment and Included Equipment

Select a mounting solution that explicitly accepts the ACRO interface and matches the host firearm. An optics-ready slide does not establish compatibility by itself: plate pattern, mounting hardware and clearance must all match. For a carbine or another rail-equipped firearm, use an appropriate ACRO rail mount.
